About Us

WinningWays was initially developed over a number of years in real life local church settings, seeing what actually worked and delivered measurable growth.

It came as a response to some fundamental questions: What are the Biblical principles for outreach? How can local churches engage with outreach in a way that feels natural and works for people? Is there more to evangelism than just programmes and professionals? How can church leaders learn to lead missionally, and so model and release effective outreach?

In 2001, WinningWays was launched in Bristol, when Philip Jinadu was invited to serve across a number of churches across the region as a 'City Evangelist'. Since then it's played a significant and ongoing part in the growth of many churches, and is now used by churches across the UK and beyond.

MEET THE TEAM

These are some of the people that make WinningWays happen:

Philip Jinadu is the Director of WinningWays. He began his evangelistic ministry over 20 years ago, working as a National Evangelist for Youth for Christ. After a number of years in local church leadership he pioneered a role as 'City Evangelist' in Bristol, and began to develop the WinningWays process.

Philip is part of the Senior Leadership team of a Bristol church with over 1,000 members. As well as being an established main speaker at national conferences such as Spring Harvest and Grapevine, Philip also speaks and works internationally.

Nigel Savage is the Church Coordinator for Winning Ways. After a number of years working in the Community Care sector, he entered church ministry. Having come to faith in his twenties from a non-churched background, he has a particular passion to see the church succeed in reaching others like him.

Nigel continues to balance work as a local church leader with his Winning Ways responsibilities. His role on the team is to help provide service and support to leaders, as they look to work through the outreach process.

Ruth Lorensson has been involved with WinningWays since 2001, pioneering many of the creative resources for small groups.

She's in demand as a conference speaker at events like 'New Wine', and retains an associate role with the team.

David Lawrence is a hugely popular author whose books have sold well in excess of 100,000 copies worldwide.

David is an acknowledged expert in the field of missional leadership, and has personally led explosive church growth, as well as teaching others.
